Good luck! 👍

As the end of the summer term approaches, we wanted to give you some exciting learning opportunities that will encourage your creativity and curiosity. Therefore, over the next two weeks, we are inviting you to take part in our Faraday Fortnight of Fun!

Throughout the Faraday Fortnight of Fun we would like you to complete a variety of challenges. These challenges are to be completed in addition to the English and Maths home learning activities provided on the school website.

We recommend that you complete English and Maths lessons in the morning and work on the learning challenges in the afternoon.

We would like you to complete five of the Faraday Fortnight of Fun Challenges over the next two weeks (Monday 29th June – Friday 10th June). But of course, you can complete more challenges if you like!

You can choose from any of the following Faraday Fortnight of Fun challenges:

  • Maths

  • English

  • Science

  • P.E

  • D&T

  • Art

  • History

  • Geography

  • Music

  • Spanish (KS2 children)

  • R.E.

  • Phonics (EYFS and KS1 children)

  • Cooking

  • P.S.H.E

  • We are looking for winners for each of the Faraday Fortnight of Fun challenges!

You can enter by sending photos or videos of your work to your teacher’s email address. The email should clearly state which Faraday Fortnight of Fun challenge you are entering e.g. History challenge.

You can work individually on your challenges or with your families. Class teachers will select winners for each of the learning challenges. Winning entries will receive a certificate and a prize!

You can use the Faraday Fortnight of Fun Challenge Tracker to record your progress across the challenges. This can be downloaded over here or collected from the school office.

We look forward to seeing your creative ideas and hope you all enjoy the Faraday Fortnight of Fun!

Click here to download and print the Faraday Fortnight of Fun Challenge Tracker. If you don’t have a printer trackers are available to collect from the school office.

You can use this tracker to record your progress across all of the Faraday Fortnight of Fun Challenges. Aim to complete at least five challenges. Once you have completed a learning challenge and e-mailed your teacher to enter the competition, you can colour in the challenge’s star.

See how many stars you can colour!

Have fun, try your best and good luck 😊
