We have welcomed two new classes to the Michael Faraday Nursery. All our children are settling in well. The first few weeks of the new term have been spent learning about the school daily routine.
The children now enjoy eating their lunch inside the Nursery area. We have rearranged the layout of the classrooms to accommodate this.
Our new starters have made the most of the early autumn weather. We have been playing outside and enjoying the wonderful resources we have in our outdoor play space.
Early learning in the Nursery has looked at birthdays. The children have been asked how old they are, and how old they will be at their next birthday.
We are working on a new classroom display. This will have a birthday theme. The children are also busy drawing plenty of birthday balloons on a large paper floor covering.
Finally, no birthday would be complete without a birthday cake! Small groups of Nursery children have been taking it in turns to prepare and bake a delicious banana birthday cake.
