Pupils throughout the school recently celebrated European Languages Week. Each class chose a European country to research.
We are fortunate in that we have children from many different backgrounds in our school. Friends were able to draw upon the knowledge of the host countries of some pupils. One example is the French Q&A session staged in Year 5.
Plenty of work was completed throughout the week. Our research led to written exercises, artwork, music and food tasting.
We also looked at the traditional costumes for our chosen countries, as well as their flags.
