Letter for Parents and Carers, November 2020

Dear Families

I do hope you had a good half term – it’s good to see so many of the children back.

As we approach another period of lockdown from Thursday, 4th November I thought I should write to you with a few reminders regarding how we can keep our school community as safe as possible.

Below are the ways you can help as we try to keep our school open for the children:

  • 1 adult only for drop-off and pick-up
  • Please adhere to the start and finish times for each year group – these have been organised to minimise overcrowding
  • Please leave as soon as you have dropped/collected your child
  • Adults please wear a face mask
  • Please keep at least 1 metre away from others
  • If you or any family member show symptoms you must not send your child to school. Ring 111 or use the NHS Covid-19 app to book a test

If there is a positive test your child needs to stay at home for 14 days from when the first symptoms appear

If the test is negative your child can return to school once you have sent your test result to the school

If you have symptoms but have not taken a test then your child must remain at home for 14 days

If your child is unable to attend school due to Covid-19 then please do contact their class teacher by email who will provide work via google classroom.

I know you understand how important it is to do everything possible to keep our school open and we do appreciate your ongoing support in this.

    Best wishes

    Karen Fowler
