Year 4 have provided some thoughtful work for Anti-Bullying Week. The class members watched a short video. This had a powerful anti-bullying message. It led to a detailed class discussion on how we can overcome bullies.
The pupils worked in pairs to talk through their ideas. Some of the suggestions included ignoring bullies, telling a responsible adult if they experience bullying, and always treating others how we want to be treated.
Year 4 have used their creativity to express these strong sentiments. Each class member designed and made a couple of flags for Anti-Bullying Week.
Class teacher Zoe talked about the importance of a strong, simple message. These were then transferred to our flags. They will form part of our class display showing how bullying is not tolerated in our school community.
Elsewhere in Year 4 and the class members are preparing for the Michael Faraday Winter Concert. We will be staging an online presentation this year. This will hopefully make our annual celebration of music accessible to all parents and carers.
